Program Description Infants: This classroom is for infants age 6 weeks through 12 months. The staff-to-child ratio is 1 teacher to 4 infants. The daily schedule for the infants is individualized to meet the needs of each infant. Infant Plus: The infant plus room is for children ages 11 to 18 months old. The staff-to-child ratio is 1 teacher to 4 infants. This classroom begins to introduce the children to the world around them. Toddlers: The toddler classroom is for children ages 18 months to 26 months. The staff to child ratio is 1 teacher to 5 children. This classroom emphasizes playful learning and introduces learning centers throughout the room. Toddler Plus: The toddler plus is for children ages 26 to 36 months old. The staff to child ratio is 1 teacher to 6 children. This classroom emphasizes playful learning as well as many self-help concepts. Pre-School: The children in this room range from 37 months to 4 years. The staff to child ratio is 1 teacher to 10 children. The classroom activities are center-oriented and emphasize a hands-on approach to learning along with plenty of fun playtime. Pre-Kindergarten: The children in this room range in age from 4 years to 5 years. The staff to child ratio is 1 teacher to 10 children. This classroom is also center based and begins to introduce early learning concepts through play and a hands on approach. The children are exposed to field trips on a regular basis. Kinderfun: The children in this classroom are 5 to 6 years of age. The staff to child ratio is 1 teacher to 10 children. This classroom emphasizes learning through play, hands-on experiences and the use of manipulation. Tabor Children’s House offers a full-day or half-day program based on the Central Bucks School District curriculum. Transportation is provided to Doyle, Linden, Kutz, Coldspring, Gaymen, Groveland and Detwiler elementary schools. School Age: The children in this group range in age from 6 to 12 years. The program includes care before and/or after school (grades 1-6). Time is made available for children to begin their homework assignments and to participate in recreational activities. Days Off: The children in this group range in age from 6 to 12 years. The program includes care on early dismissal days, scheduled days off and snow days, as the schedule follows the Central Bucks School District calendar.
