Flower Garden

 Welcome to the Flower Garden

Welcome to the Tree House classroom. My name is Nichole and I would like to introduce myself. I have an CDA in Early Childhood and I am currently taking classes at Bucks County Community College for my Associate degree. This is my 5th year teaching at Tabor and I graduated from the Middle Bucks Child Care program and CB West.

There are a few things I would like you to know about the Flower Garden:

·         Please bring in one pack of wipes and one box of tissues each month

·         Diapers (as needed)

·         For nap time, a clean pillowcase and blanket are needed every Monday.  These will be sent home on Friday so they can be washed.

·         If your child is here before 7:30am, we would be happy to serve breakfast that you provide for him/her.  If your child arrives later than 7:30am, we ask that he/she eats breakfast at home.  Snack is served at 9:30am

·         Toddlers love to play outside.  The playground has a lot of climbing equipment and sandals may cause your child to slip and fall.  For your child’s safety, I ask that your child wear socks and sneakers to school everyday.

·         Sometimes things get a little messy in the Flower Garden and your child will need extra clothes.  In a labeled shoe box or plastic container, please have at least 2 pairs of pants, 2 shirts, 2 pairs of socks, and 1 pair of shoes.

·         We keep very active throughout the day.  We have circle time, free play, art, and outside time.

·         At the end of each day, your child will have a daily report letting you know what your child did during the day.  Please make sure you check your child’s pocket on the classroom door daily to check for important papers and information.

I look forward to getting to know both you and your child while in the Flower Garden.  If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to call and talk with me.  The number for the classroom is (215)345-5877, ext. 284.

Let’s have a wonderful year!
